Christmas is coming

Please pray for our students as we are sharing about Christmas in the next couple of weeks. For our school we have our annual Christmas party on the 14th of this month, all of the students are going to be singing different Christmas carols. Please pray for God to work in the hearts of our students. We are also going to be playing the Navity story on our last class of the year.

Doctors

I don't know how many people know that lately, I have been to several different doctors to try to figure out why i have been in pain. I am going to another doctor today to see if they can figure out what is going on. Please pray that I can be patient as I am being sent to one doctor after another. Also, that I just can fully rely on God during this time. He knows what the outcome is and He know s what is going on. I think sometimes we just want answers right away, but God's timing is so different than ours.

Please also pray for wisdom for the doctors. This is a mystery to my doctor right now, please just pray that God will give the specialists wisdom on what it could be.

Please to continue to pray for the club that is on Friday nights with the orphanage kids. I had the opportunity to share the creation story with the younger kids. Please pray for the relationships with the kids.
Also, to pray for more volunteers to help out with the club.

Prayer Requests

  • To give a little history.....when i was here in the czech republic a year ago. I helped out with a club called blue swamp. At this club i worked with children from the orphanage. Along with this club i would go out to the orphanage to play with the kids or just to spend time with them. A couple of days ago I met with the Pastor from the Baptist church and my friend Zuzka. We talked about what we could do with the kids from the orphanage. How can we minister to these children? We talked about all different ideas and prayed together as well. Please to keep this in your prayers on what God would have us do with these kids. There are a lot of different kids this year but then there are some that are the same. The church has a good relationship with orphanage, which helps a lot. Also, pray for my involvement as well. This is something that is very dear to my heart and I love those kids. To also pray that God will give us the vision on what he would have us do. I will keep you posted on what takes place.

God is good!!!

Praises.......
  • I just received word that my visa is ready. God is good!!! Normally, a visa process is so long that is why it is a huge blessing and an answer to prayer that it is done. I want to thank you for your prayers. Please pray for the mail system.
  • This last week I was observed or controlled(is what they call it in the czech republic) by my head English teacher(she was my boss before when I was in the Czech Republic) this last week. I was very nervous for it because it has been so long since I have taught and I just wasn't sure how I was doing. The one class that she was observing was one of my difficult classes. They are great and wonderful people but I think I struggle with classroom management in this class. I just kept praying to God throughout the lesson to calm my nerves and to allow me to speak clearly to the students so they could understand me. I just thank God for being with me during that lesson. After the lesson my head English teacher told me that she liked my lesson and that it was very good. She told me that one of my strengths were classroom management(that was a total God thing). God is amazing!!!
  • I thank God for my new teammates as well. They are both great and wonderful people. I am glad that God put them on my team this year. Please continue to pray that we can be encouraging to each other during the hard months( usually in the winter time).
Prayer requests:
  • team unity
  • spiritual warfare
  • living by myself. It is going great right now. I do have people over quite often but I know when it gets colder that it will be harder. Please pray that I will find another hobby during the winter months, so it will keep me from being bored. I am looking at trying to do cross stitch or something like that. My teammate might even teach me how to crochet.
